Neighbours Helping Neighbours is not just one company’s catch phrase…it’s a way of life in my community. Neighbour Bob Bell, inventor and founder of the WIKE company http://wicycle.com/, approached me to help illustrate some of his bike models and I was happy to oblige and got caught up in his infectious enthusiasm.

The project required some fast upgrading in GIMP on my part but it all proved worth it and the extra skills gained broadened my services in this field. Best of all, I enjoy the memory of sitting opposite Bob in his ‘study’ as the twilight of a winter afternoon gathered around us, enthusing about his dreams of a Salamander City. To age and yet remain practical but also enthusiastic for life’s opportunities is a gift and Bob has it in spades. It was a pleasure working with him.
